On this day before Christmas Eve, we present to the Lord our needs like the shepherds.

* May we enliven the hearts of those whose families are far away and awaken nostalgia in them in this festive time.

HELP US TO LOVE LIKE YOU, Father.

* May austerity be a characteristic of our Christmas, in this year of inequalities and economic difficulties.

HELP US TO LOVE LIKE YOU, Father.

* May we welcome those who are alone, visit the sick and overcome our anger and resentments.

HELP US TO LOVE LIKE YOU, Father.

* May your church and your people express goodness and festivity to transmit our happiness at the birth of your son, Jesus..

HELP US TO LOVE LIKE YOU, Father.

* May all those who are spending Christmas in homes, prisons, hospitals and other places where people are gathered together, be treated with tenderness and dignity.

HELP US TO LOVE LIKE YOU, Father.

* Although we have celebrated many Christmas festivities, may these ones grant us a true conversion, in which we find You within all of us.

HELP US TO LOVE LIKE YOU, Father.

THANK YOU FOR GIVING US JESUS

Today we offer the Lord our hearts, happy because of the coming of Jesus, whilst we present him with our needs so he can bless them. We say: THANK YOU FOR GIVING US JESUS.

* For all those people whose hearts are not enlivened, because they do not allowYou, God, to be born inside them,

THANK YOU FOR GIVING US JESUS.

* May your presence help to eliminate all our inequalities and injustices and may we fight to achieve it,

THANK YOU FOR GIVING US JESUS.

* For our Church, so that it knows how to show and infect others with the experience of living inhabited by You,

THANK YOU FOR GIVING US JESUS.

* So that all of us here present, may be illuminated by You, the light of the world,
